Merchant Job

This job will be received automatically just as the adventurer or the socialite job. You can visit the NPC next to Christopher, Mini and learn Bargain and Knowledge of Goods skills. These skills will unlock new items in the mercury union trade run and the Bargain skill (if succeeded) will decrease the buying value of the items (so u’ll complete the run faster). And also this job allows u to do more than the usual 2 runs every day that pay in soulcoins.
The bargain button can be found next to the buying button while purcharsing items at the Mercury Union Npc.
See here how to start making the Mercury Union Trade Runs.
By doing these runs you grow your job level and also gain Mercury Union Reputation Points that can be exchanged for gold at the Mercury Apprentice Billy Ray with the scrolls.
Tip: If your guild has a base than you should accept the Trade Runs from the guild instead of the normal ones. Difference is that you bring contribution to your guild and help raise funds while still getting the soul gold you would normaly get from Christopher.
Keep in mind the location your guild base is in because if it’s in Lunagrant or Sea of Oblivion, then you will have to do the runs within that area, and there would be different materials to buy and sell.
